Simple case lines are glorified in the Danica Bedroom Collection by a sensual material combination of wood veneers and rustic finished metal casing, giving the group a transitional vibe that leans antique in its styling. With a slight nod to the Pasadena School, the updated Arts and Crafts design of the collection allows for generous, geometric expanses of raised grain maple veneer. Metal plate pull hardware, positioned on drawer box lips, adds to the minimalist aesthetic and directs the viewer's focus to the immaculate smoothness of the drawer faces and panel details throughout the collection. With modest detailing and transitional material use, Danica is suited for coastal lofts, intercity living and remote farmhouses alike.
Simplicity tells a story with our streamlined, metal-wrapped Danica collection. With a slight nod to the Pasadena School, this updated Arts and Crafts design allows for generous, geometric expanses of raised grain Maple veneer. In a Warm Maple finish, encased with a rustic, brown metal finish.
Since 1931, the Magnussen Home family has been committed to blending the fine qualities that they value in life into the fine furniture that they offer our customers. Integrity. Ingenuity. Style. Dedication. The people at Magnussen Home take pride in their company and in the furniture they produce.
Ingwer Magnussen founded the company in 1931, in the town of Kitchener, Ontario. A cabinetmaker by trade and a craftsman and businessman at heart, Ingwer took the bold step of starting his own company when he was unable to find work during the Great Depression. Serving Canadian upholstery manufacturers, he created beautiful, intricately carved show wood for sofa frames, earning a reputation that allowed his young business to grow into a good-sized company. Over the years, Magnussen Home has continued to grow, expanding to become a global enterprise. Yet, they have maintained the core principles of a family-run business - trust, honesty and respect - as the foundation of success of Magnussen Home.
