Evoke the ambience of a classic farmhouse or a reclaimed factory loft with the Madison Heights Collection. The board-and batten construction of the signature panel bed is inspired by architectural details from 19th and 20th Century farmhouses, and window-pane motifs in textured glass on key pieces bring to mind the black metal windows found in country farmhouses or in urban reclaimed factories. Black metal ferrules, corner brackets and forged iron hardware bring an industrial modern vibe to the craftsmen-like silhouettes. A black metal bed and a black mirror with window-pane border provide a dramatic contrast to the Weathered Fawn wire-brushed and distressed finish over solid Pine for an authentic and casual feel. Whether you aspire to loft living or country living, the Madison Heights Collection will bring your dream home to life.
Since 1931, the Magnussen Home family has been committed to blending the fine qualities that they value in life into the fine furniture that they offer our customers. Integrity. Ingenuity. Style. Dedication. The people at Magnussen Home take pride in their company and in the furniture they produce.
Ingwer Magnussen founded the company in 1931, in the town of Kitchener, Ontario. A cabinetmaker by trade and a craftsman and businessman at heart, Ingwer took the bold step of starting his own company when he was unable to find work during the Great Depression. Serving Canadian upholstery manufacturers, he created beautiful, intricately carved show wood for sofa frames, earning a reputation that allowed his young business to grow into a good-sized company. Over the years, Magnussen Home has continued to grow, expanding to become a global enterprise. Yet, they have maintained the core principles of a family-run business - trust, honesty and respect - as the foundation of success of Magnussen Home.
